Submitting URLs to the Google Index

The SEO team here at Equi=Media have been testing the new facility to submit pages to Google index via the Webmaster tools account, as launched yesterday.

We had a new page go live for our client, to speed up the indexing process we submitted the new URL via the webmaster tools account and within a very short time frame that page now ranks on page two for the term we are targeting – big smiles all round.

Of course we will keep monitoring the SERPs to see how this changes over time but for time being we’re very happy SEO bunnies!
