ITV marketing chief steps down
2010/07/14
ITV´s marketing director David Pemsel is leaving the company, Marketing Week reports.
He departs along with research boss Chad Wollen as the television firm initiates a restructure that will see the marketing and research departments report to newly-appointed director of programming Peter Finchman.
However, the positions are expected to remain open and ITV will be seeking replacements for the pair.
Pemsel joined in 2005 having previously worked as a senior agency executive for St Luke´s and Ogilvy & Mather.
Since Adam Crozier took up the reins as chief executive, ITV has been reviewing its infrastructure but the broadcaster has enjoyed a prosperous month or so owing to increased advertising revenues from the World Cup.
Other recent departures include managing director of brand and commercial Rupert Howell, while Fru Hazlitt is set to take up her position as managing director of commercial and online at the start of next month.
