Image extensions are fast becoming a fundamental aspect of PPC advertising. But until very recently we haven’t seen them on mobile devices.
Here at equimedia we have started seeing image extensions showing in mobile SERPs, which we are sure will help our mobile click through rates and overall performance. Our Casio & HiPP ads demonstrate how they are displayed.
As shown below the only variance from desktop searches we can see is that mobile image extensions only show two out of the three images applied to the ad group.
In the next few weeks we will be able to analyse the performance of image extensions on mobile devices and feedback our results.
