th overall, dropping one place on last year only due to the first time entry of MEC, a WPP group agency. We continue to be the second largest UK independent media agency.
In a deal completed in November 2015, Essence was acquired by the WPP group. Now that Essence are longer an independent company, this places equimedia as the UK's largest independent digital media agency.
