Feedstream

equimedia built the first of its kind, bespoke feed management database – Feedstream - for WHSmith that transformed their online campaigns and helped the Client to exceed the revenue target by 42% and improving the overall campaign cost efficiency by over 60%!

Feedstream splits products into tiers by profit margin, book genre and product type, connecting this information and price points into all types of media including PPC.  In stock items were promoted based on media price points, availability alongside visual images of the item and the current on-site price.

Clicking the ad would send the user straight to the product page on the WHSmith.co.uk site, increasing conversion rates and achieving maximum ROI.

Feedstream has been used successfully for other Clients whose business is based on selling inventory such as new build houses.

Recommend a Friend Widget

equimedia created and engineered a leading-edge widget for the British School of Motoring (BSM) that encouraged their current learner drivers to recommend a friend on their social media pages. 

The tool incentivised current BSM learners by rewarding them if they shared a unique code though their Facebook or Twitter page - this was then activated by a friend or follower when they input the code to purchase lessons. Once a code was activated, the learner who shared the code would receive £10.  

Our invention ensured a 29% learner acquisition increase and helped to drive an additional 55,000 organic visits to site. 

After the campaign, BSM had to shift their focus to recruiting instructors because of the rapid increase in learner drivers!
