Our equine rescue charity client came to us with a brief to increase sales in their online shop in the run up to Christmas. We recommended running a campaign across both Paid Search (PPC) and Facebook and using a product feed to showcase relevant products to their audiences in both platforms.
In PPC we ran a Google Shopping campaign with an integrated product feed. Users who searched for relevant terms were served a Shopping ad, pulling in real-time information and images of the products available into the ad. The integration also meant that we could make numerous product feed optimisations in seconds, without making changes to the website.
We also took this approach for Facebook activity, using the shopping feed to create a catalogue campaign. This allowed us to run a combination of dynamic and collection ads, so a customer would be served an ad showcasing the specific product they had previously looked at, or searched for.
The campaign achieved some impressive results, including a:
- 33% increase in shop sales
- 38% increase in completed purchases
- 29% reduction in Cost Per Sale
