Christmas is a key time for charity adoption, membership or sponsorship scheme regular giving supporter recruitment. We maximised the sales of adoptions as gifts for our equine rescue charity client by running a cohesive multi-channel Christmas campaign using targeted display ads, paid social ads and Paid Search (PPC).
With the help of our content team, we developed a creative theme that resulted in consistent messaging across all channels and the custom built landing page. By using messaging related to gifting, we ensured the ads appealed to a broad audience who were likely to buy an animal adoption at this key time of the year.
The bespoke landing page featured a countdown clock to the last order date before Christmas. In order to keep messaging cohesive across channels, we regularly updated the copy of each ad at key points in the campaign, emphasising last delivery dates to encourage last minute gift buying before Christmas!
The campaign delivered 36% more adoptions than forecast across all channels, with a 38% more efficient cost per adoption than target.
